![]() I suppose I just want there to be a tangible feel, a concrete gameplay result behind the production line mechanics and the gameplay/fun value behind taking the time to actually learn them. I've got hundreds of hours between civ V & civ VI though, so clearly I can tolerate a little bit of that I could never get elite: dangerous nor stellaris to click for me along these lines. The super scrupulous, borderline-spreadsheety mechanics I'm not sure about though. The island establishing/colony building/town growing sounds like it'd be right up my alley - I have recently absolutely head-over-heels loved against the storm and cities: skylines in part for those reasons There is a very high bar of quality that separates Batora apart from other indie titles. Outside of some of the combat decisions and ideas, I believe that the strongest parts of Batora: Lost Haven are to do with the world. I'm finding myself on the fence about anno 1800 * and could use some outside opinions Fortunately, I have much brighter things to say about the world.
